Summer Bucket List

Here’s how I’m going to try and fill my summer list!

post-title
  • Go on an international travel—currently working with Five Star Italy to plan a trip I’ve wanted to take for a while and I can’t wait to share
  • Visit a lavender field—have a look on Instagram post of mine with flower picking places in NJ
  • Read 10 books—yes it’s ambitious, but if not summer, when? On the top of my list is A Shoe Story by Jane Rosen, coming out June 28, and The Bronze Horseman by Paulinna Simons, which I never read but have been told is a must
  • Take a solo beach day—so I can read my books
  • Organize photos and make books—I think this is always on my to-do summer list; I actually learned about a new company, @photobooks_by_jd, that helps with this project
  • Try 3 new restaurants—I definitely want to try Bonito NYC, and I’m taking recommendations if you have any good ones
  • Hike a new trail—All Trails helps you to find fun trails in your area.
  • I may try to go on Small Shifts Yoga
  • Play mahjong—I learned but have to practice. Here’s one cute set from On The Table
  • Finish decorating my home office
  • Do a closet cleanse—I may need a day with Barbara Reich Life Organized and I’m sure I will have several bags to consign with The Hangout
  • See an outdoor movie, for example I love Rooftop Cinema Club
  • Try 3 new recipes—I have been meaning to order the Kim Kushner new cookbook
  • Play more tennis—I play with a friend weekly and love it, it's our built in time to catch up
  • Try a new fitness class—Rumble Boxing is coming to Englewood and I can't wait to try it
  • Walk the High Line—I've been before but I love going back
  • Visit Little Island in NYC—I meant to get here last summer but life got in the way, so I will try again
  • Try therapy pet training with Dunkin
  • Refresh my makeup bag—I plan to do a session with Yonina Haber
  • Walk across the GW bridge—I’ve done it before but not in a while
  • Host a BBQ—it is always best when I enlist help (check out Grill Masters NY)
  • Host a charity benefit event—probably for Emunah, which are close to my heart
  • See a Broadway show, or 2… or 3—I am waiting for Devil Wears Prada to come out; Broadway Suite is up on the list, and I also never saw Come From Away
  • Meet my BFfs I don’t get to see often enough
  • Check out new art galleries
  • Get a Biologique Recherche Facial
  • Spend a day on a boat
  • Teach my daughters how to make challah from start to finish—Check out my Challah Story blog post to learn yourself

What is on your summer 2022 bucket list?
